The shape sound leaves
The waveform comes from the sound; the poster only arranges it clearly.
Wave Poster reads audio buffers already decoded by the browser, extracts peaks in fixed time windows, then adds title, aspect, and color. It does not transcribe, identify voices, or host audio.
Real peaks
Every displayed height comes from the maximum absolute amplitude in its time window. Outside the sample, random shapes never stand in for audio.
Format boundaries
Compatibility depends on the browser decoder. MP3 and WAV are usually most reliable; other formats vary by system.
Static image
PNG contains waveform, title, and color only. It has no playable audio and does not change the source file.
No voiceprint identification
A waveform is an amplitude visualization. The site extracts no biometric features, identifies no speaker, and performs no transcription.
